	Most of SRN is served by The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office with a small portion being served by the Portland Police Department. Multnomah County Sheriff's office is a full-service law enforcement agency providing police services to the unincorporated area of the county, as well as contract police service to the cities of Wood Village and Maywood Park. The River Patrol Unit polices 95 miles of county waterways. In addition to street policing they conduct major crime investigations, narcotics enforcement, and hazardous materials investigations—both as an individual agency and jointly with other agencies.
